• About Client: Our client offers the world's largest portfolio of billion-dollar food and beverage brands, including 18 different product lines that each generate more than $1 billion in annual retail sales. With more than $43 billion in 2008 revenues, they employ 198,000 people. They manufacture, market, and sell various snacks, carbonated and non-carbonated beverages, and foods worldwide. They distribute products through direct-store-delivery, customer warehouse, and food service and vending distribution networks. The company was founded in 1898 and is headquartered in Purchase, New York.

• Client Relationship Overview: DISYS started working with the client in 2006 and was originally contracted to provide minor SAP testing services. Because of the quality of service provided, the client soon expanded their relationship with DISYS to include the management of major testing services for various projects.

Engagement Details:

• Business Need: The client’s Enterprise Test Center needed outside support for various testing initiatives. They enlisted the help of DISYS to provide skills and expertise not found internally.



• Project Objectives: Provide qualified consultants with the necessary testing experience to allow the Enterprise Test Center to successful complete various projects.



• Solution Approach: DISYS provided a team of consultants to work with the client’s internal team. DISYS consultants executed & led testing efforts on Cisco Routing & Switching configurations, Regression testing on Unix systems, HP Superdome Proof of Concepts, MS Project Server Testing, WAN Optimization Testing, LAN Switch Refresh testing, VOIP testing, and Wintel & Citrix environmental. DISYS also tested Hardware on power distribution systems, did requirements based testing & performance testing of power distribution systems, and did Certification testing on all lab equipment before it was implemented into production. DISYS performed Operational Readiness Testing (ORT) on the Client's environment to ensure server failover plans were adequate and that support & training organizations were prepared for new release. The consultants had a variety of skill sets greatly expanding the test centers capabilities.
