- Client Relationship Overview: DISYS has been working closely with the client in several geographies and currently has 7 consultants working with their Business Intelligence group to provide entire lifecycle work for a new platform creation scheduled to release phase I in October.
Engagement Details:
- Business Need: The client was developing an innovative industry solution and needed a partner that would provide the unique skill sets, creativity, and vision for their solution.
- Project Objectives: Manage the end to end implementation of the new BI reporting solution, including design, development, testing, and documentation.
- Solution Approach:
- Provide detailed business requirements and UI interfaces
- Gain blueprint sign off from the external client prior to moving into design and development
- Architect the solution and ensure proper architecture of the new platform and system design as well as the Unix/EMC storage requirements to manage the large volume of data that would be hitting the systems.
- Execute the implementation on an expedited schedule
- Manage and execute the testing of the project
- Manage and execute the technical documentation and training manual creation
