They are dedicated to helping its customers deliver high-quality health care by reducing costs, streamlining processes, and improving the quality of care and patient safety. They provide IT services to all arms of the the client’s family of companies. MIS is headquartered in Alpharetta, GA.
- Client Relationship Overview: DISYS has a direct relationship with the Information Systems department. DISYS has made a strong impression in Clinical Services as a strong supplier of PMs and ICs. We compete with only a few firms for this business.
Engagement Details:
- Business Need: The client has a suite of clinical products referred to as Horizon. Horizon has various modules that support the expansion of the client’s capabilities around each module. Capabilities supported include: Nursing, Medication Management, Pharmaceutical etc. They had implemented multiple products for a client, Vanguard, and required outside resources for end user training and support.
- Project Objectives: Provide End User client training to Vanguard, multi-facility health care system. Vanguard was implementing several of our client’s products in their nursing and ancillary departments. The first facility had completed training and applications were implemented. Training for second facility was in its last week when DISYS came on board.
- Solution Approach: DISYS provided end user training for the client’s applications prior to implementation. The modules include RN/LVN, RT, PT, Unit Secretaries and ancillary departs. DISYS provided end user support for two weeks post implementation via either scheduled or random rounding.

- Business Value: DISYS continues to be instrumental in delivering end user training. We received 4.8 out of 5.0 on all customer reviews for training. This training enables our client’s customer to take full advantage of the product functionality afforded by the implementation. This increases the customer ROI and hopefully repeat business and additional module purchases for our client.
